Duties will vary depending on your children’s ages, your family routine, and the hours of care required, but may include:

Following your child or children’s usual routine, including meals, naps, school, and bedtime rhythms

Engaging children in meaningful play, conversation, reading, games, and age appropriate activities

Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children

Supporting bottle feeding, nappy changes, toileting, and basic infant care

Assisting with bathing, showering, dressing, and feeding routines

Helping children get ready for school, daycare, activities, or outings

Providing school, daycare, or activity drop offs and pick ups where arranged

Planning creative and educational activities such as craft, sensory play, reading, or outdoor play
