TYPICAL BABYSITTER DUTIES

Our babysitters are there to provide calm, attentive, and reliable care, while ensuring your children feel safe, supported, and engaged. Duties will vary depending on your children’s ages, your family routine, and the length of the booking, but may include:

Engaging children in play, conversation, and age appropriate activities

Preparing simple, nutritious meals and snacks for the children

Assisting with bottle feeding, nappy changes, and basic infant care

Supporting bath time, showers, toileting, and feeding routines

Supervising homework or quiet learning activities where required

Helping children get ready for school, daycare, or outings

Providing school, daycare, or activity drop offs and pick ups where arranged

Planning creative activities such as craft, reading, games, or outdoor play

Taking children to approved outings such as the park, playgroup, or local activities

Following your child’s usual routine, including sleep, meals, and transitions

Keeping children’s spaces tidy, clean, and safe throughout the booking

Ensuring play areas and activity spaces are appropriately supervised and secure

Our babysitters focus on child related care and light child related tidying. General household cleaning, including bathrooms, is not included unless separately agreed.
